Apollo SA5900-928MAR Intelligent Marine Manual Call Point
The Intelligent Marine Manual Call Point (MCP) is designed for use on loops of intelligent fire detection devices in indoor marine and offshore environments. Activation is achieved by pressing the resettable element, which signals the Fire Control Panel via the Apollo Digital Communication Protocol’s interrupt feature. Alarm status is clearly indicated by the rotation of the resettable element, displaying yellow and black indication bars, along with a solid red LED. The MCP can be quickly and easily reset from the front using the supplied ergonomic reset key.
Operation
Each call point is assigned an address during commissioning using a DIL switch. A solid red alarm LED provides immediate visual confirmation of an alarm, controlled independently by the control panel. The LED flashes yellow in the event of a fault and green during polling. The device is compatible with Discovery and CoreProtocol systems.
The Intelligent Marine MCP includes a built-in short-circuit isolator, ensuring continued operation in the event of a loop fault. Isolator status is indicated by a solid yellow LED. Activation of the SIL-approved MCP can be reset by inserting the front-facing reset key and turning it clockwise until a positive click confirms reset.
