The M701E is an Input/Output module designed for use with any Notifier protocol fire alarm control panel. It can optionally supervise wiring to connected devices and, when commanded by the control panel, switch an external power supply to operate these devices.
Part of the newly designed M700 family, the M701E completes the NFXI line of wired spot detectors while maintaining the familiar design and continuity of the series. Combining modern aesthetics with maximum reliability and advanced functionality, it offers an upgraded platform for both single and multi-way applications.
The module’s innovative mechanical design allows installation in a standard wall box, on a DIN rail, or in its dedicated enclosure. Built-in DIN brackets enable easy rail mounting, and the address switch remains visible and accessible regardless of mounting method.
Each module includes short-circuit protection for the communications loop, with isolators selectable on an individual basis for added flexibility. Enlarged light pipes improve LED visibility in tight spaces, while the multi-colour status LED provides diagnostic information at a glance. The rotary address switch and LED status can be viewed from multiple angles without removing the cover.
Quick-connect terminals simplify installation, testing, and maintenance, and laser-engraved markings on the enclosure ensure long-term readability and durability.
