Kidde AirSense 9-30783 Stratos ModuLaser Detector Module
The ModuLaser system is a scalable aspirating smoke detection solution designed to simplify installation, reduce maintenance time, and expand capabilities beyond traditional air-sampling detectors. The system is composed of two main module types: detector modules and display modules. Each detector module can support up to 250 meters of combined sampling pipe. Communication between detector and display modules is handled via RS-485 connections.
Display modules come in three configurations:
Standard: TFT colour display with status LEDs and navigation buttons
Minimum: Status LEDs only
Command: Similar to Standard but with added control of multiple modules over the SenseNET network
The Standard and Minimum modules can support up to 8 detector modules, while the Command module can manage up to 127 modules across a SenseNET network.
Designed to withstand dust and harsh environmental conditions, ModuLaser is ideal for areas that would challenge conventional smoke detectors. Forward scattering optical technology provides early warning detection while minimizing false alarms, and advanced environmental compensation ensures reliable operation.
