The VEU series represents the premium tier of the VESDA-E aspirating smoke detector range. Offering an ultra-wide sensitivity range—15 times greater than the VESDA VLP—and support for additional sampling holes, VEU provides up to 40% increased coverage in high airflow environments.
With extended linear pipe lengths and branched pipe network capabilities, the VEU is ideal for applications with high ceilings, delivering up to 80% more coverage while allowing convenient detector placement for easy servicing and maintenance. A suite of advanced features ensures exceptional detection performance, flexibility, field programmability, robust connectivity, and reduced total cost of ownership.
The VEU is housed in a robust IP40-rated enclosure and equipped with a high-performance aspirator capable of supporting total pipe lengths of up to 800 m (2,624 ft). It is fully compatible with ASPIRE-E and Xtralis VSC software, enabling simple pipe network design, system commissioning, maintenance, and integration with existing VESDA installations.
