The Apollo 29600-664 is a Series 65 conventional open-area sounder visual alarm device (VAD), designed to provide audible and visual warning in fire alarm systems. Featuring a red housing and red flashing beacon, it combines sound and light signalling in a single unit, making it suitable for applications requiring both audible and visual fire alerts.
With an IP66 ingress protection rating and Category W classification, this device is designed for outdoor and open-area installations. It is suitable for fire safety, security and process control signalling applications where compatible intrinsically safe (I.S.) systems are specified. The unit is wall-mounted, wired and offers a reported sound output of up to 100 dB.
