The EDA-A6030 electronic sounder with LED beacon is designed to complement the EDA range of radio fire alarm equipment. Powered entirely by internal batteries and controlled via radio, it produces a variety of selectable tones at a sound level equivalent to a standard hard-wired electronic sounder. The integrated LED beacon provides a visual alert for occupants with hearing impairments or in areas with high ambient noise.
In normal operation, the sounder continuously monitors its built-in radio receiver for instructions from the control panel. Once activated, it continues to receive updates to change tone, silence, or respond to system commands.
To maintain communication integrity, the sounder frequently transmits status signals to the control panel. Any communication failures, battery low conditions, unit removal, receiver faults, or faults in connected external devices are automatically reported. Fully addressable, the unit can be assigned to specific zones to support phased evacuation strategies.
