The HyFire HFI-CZM-01 Conventional Zone Module enables the integration of conventional detectors into a Vega intelligent loop. The module features an onboard relay output controlled by the fire alarm control panel and supports configurable current limits to suit different installation requirements.
The analogue-intelligent panel recognises the module (and the connected conventional subsystem) as a single addressed device on the loop. It detects and communicates normal, open-circuit, short-circuit, and alarm conditions from the conventional zone to the control panel. Note that the module does not detect the physical removal of a sensor from the conventional line.
The module can be powered either directly from the analogue loop or via an external power supply. It continuously monitors its power source and measures the current flowing to the conventional zone, providing the control panel with full oversight of the conventional subsystem and its status.
