The XPander Combined Sounder and Detector XPander Combined Sounder and Detector is a wireless device that provides both detection and audible notification at a single point, simplifying installation while ensuring reliable fire warning.
Brand Information
The XPander range features an advanced wireless communication system. A Radio Interface connects to the control panel via the Apollo addressable two-wire power and communication system. The interface communicates with detectors and signalling devices using radio waves. Each device is multi-state, reporting normal, pre-alarm, fire, or fault conditions to the radio base, which transmits the information to the interface.
The detectors include drift compensation and will report if compensation limits are reached. All radio bases and signalling devices are fully addressable and report pre-set analogue values through the XP95 or Discovery protocol. Beyond normal and fire states, the system can signal low battery, detector contamination, tampering, or low signal strength faults.
